IT IS SO DECIDED
Elif and Kemal's divorce...
It's over, they are divorced.
A fleeting glance at the
ex-spouse and then a deep sigh...
A hasty escape from the
courthouse...
Yes, Kemal's process has
officially ended, but has this painful process really ended?
So much effort, resources, and
time were spent to obtain it.
Then this much effort to get rid
of it...
Actually, Elif and Kemal's
process had a very nice start. Their marriage started very quickly. Kemal was
struck by Elif in a whirlwind romance. He entered this process despite all the
difficult circumstances. His family did not want Elif very much. She was not a
bad person, but it was obvious that they would have compatibility problems. A
few close friends also whispered in Kemal's ear.
"Don't rush, brother, get to
know each other a little better," said his closest friend.
Despite the marriage not even
lasting 3 months, a never-ending separation process...
Conflicts, fights, inner cries,
disappointments, pains...
Anyway, it's over now...
Kemal also didn't want to talk,
he wanted to close this file.
They had very few similarities.
They looked at life from different perspectives. Their desires and expectations
were also different. They got married but could never become a family. Elif
never wanted to give up her single life. However, Kemal wanted to build a
family with Elif, but they remained just housemates with marriage certificates.
But like every new relationship,
theirs didn't start like this, of course... Kemal really wanted to marry
Elif...
He was in love with her.
He met Elif in a group of
friends. The few months of friendship were very enjoyable.
He really wanted Elif. Because he
wanted her so much, he became deaf to advice and warnings. His only goal was to
achieve that desire.
"No matter what," he
said, even when the possibility of conflict with his family on this issue came
to his mind...
When they entered the wedding
process, they somehow postponed the problems they encountered. But when they
moved into the same house, the problems were endless. Their tolerance and
patience towards each other were not enough. When they could not solve the
problems and the desire to continue the relationship began to decrease, the
warnings he heard in the early days began to echo in his mind. Continuing had
begun to harm both of them. His family, who were already not in favour of it at
the beginning of the process, now saw that they had reached the end of the
road.
And the process ended... What was
desired to begin very much, ended with prayers for it to end.
He saw at the end of the process
that his desire prevented him from making healthy decisions.
Our desires are our tendencies
that keep us alive and make us move. But when our desire for something
increases disproportionately, our decision-making system on that subject also
begins to be damaged. When our desire for that thing decreases, we gain the
right to see the consistency of reality.
Regrets begin...
But when do they begin? When the
desire for that thing decreases compared to its beginning.
When you don't want it that much
anymore or when you reach what is desired...
That's when a person's desires
become excessive, they become unable to look at the issue comprehensively and
see the big picture. When their desire begins to decrease and they pull back a little,
they can think comprehensively and it becomes their right to see the already
existing picture...
So, a person actually can't see
what they are deeply involved in.
We understand that the
specialness of relationships that start very specially is not only about
wanting too much... In order for our special relationships not to be affected
by general relationship problems, we need to control our emotions and desires a
little... Even if it hurts us a little bit...

Kemal had expectations in the beginning of the wedding. Although his family's advices he choosed Elif so there was a cost. Now this marriage is a past event for Kemal.
